teachers' day celebration:

- we had chocolate cake, almond jelly, blue mango jelly, bee hoon, apples, egg mayo, chips etc for the party
- spent 45 minutes running around to look for teachers
- the performance was very entertaining :) love it.

Primary School Visit:

i decided to visit nayang primary this year, since this will most probably be the last year i'm going back. flipped through the graduation booklet the night before and i really missed the times we had in primary school. it was then, so carefree, stress-free, innocent and filled with laughter.

Set off with Eileen, Valerie, Vanda, Hui Ying, Sheila and Yan Qi at around 11.45am. We reached ny primary at about 12pm. Didnt see any ex-classmates at that time..so we just sat at the fitness corner area and chatted. Walked around and saw Chit Yin, Vinette and Siyu. With them were some other ex-schoolmates i could not really recognise at the time. only remembered when i went home to flip through the grad book to find their faces. haha.

Met the RI guys after that (Julian, Mu Quan, Yi Jun, Chue Hsien) and the RG girls (Shiao Yen, Sarah, Lisa, Amelia). caught up with some of the girls. It was quite awkward with the guys, cos i wasn't really close to them last time... so i just smiled and "hi"-ed. hahaha.

Went to catch ratatouille after that with the RI guys and ny girls at cine. peirong and andre joined in too.

i feel that this gathering was quite fruitful (almost half the class turned up!), but just a little too quiet and uninteractive. I could feel this wall between the guys and the girls...and the guys would talk among themselves, and the girls would do the same thing. The class is like separated into the guys and the girls section. haha.

Maybe we should organise a class gathering during the end of this year or something...it's such a waste to let these 3-4 years (for most of us) of friendship come to an end.
Anybody interested in helping too?

just as i thought that all was lost.. ):

I'm gonna get them back. (:

Some random stuff about my primary school days...

Primary 1:

- I was a tomboy (surprised?). Every recess, i would play with the boys at the field beside the book shop in campus 1. Made "enemies" through this game. hahaha. i remember Alex Poh throwing a big pink banana tree flower at our opponents...and i was so horrified.

- Being short, the broom stick was a tad too long for me. So as i was doing my duty- sweeping the floor, i didn't notice Valerie Jee (my squadmate now) standing behind me, and i accidentally poked the broomstick into her eye. ouch. and Ms Low was scolding and teaching me how to hold a broom properly. Valerie still remembers that incident. haha.

- My sister and i were entering the teachers' office in the morning to inform my teacher that i wasn't feeling well. but before we could even say anything, i puked right in front of the teacher at her desk..and immediately, she screamed "off the air-con!!!". hahaha. what an unpleasant way fo starting the day :)

Primary 2:

- i was reprimanded by a classmate for playing the ophelia game??! shant say who, why and how. X( she's so silly.

- my teacher wrote in my report book that i "should refrain from talking too much during lessons". rahh.

- i used to 'read' dictionaries when i forgot to bring a book for silent reading... and the prefects dont like that.

Primary 3 to 6:

- I was rather quiet in class, thanks to the teacher's comment in primary 2. hahah.

- Won many penmanship competitions, and i lost to a guy in the end! and dont know for what reason, the teacher said i could not participate in any penmanship competitions anymore. haha

- Was appointed the group leader or assistant group leader..and i still remember one of my groups was named "sheep ava". i dont know what ava means... alex (i think) wanted very much for 'ava' to be in the group name.

okay, i shall stop here. need some sleep
